Very comfortable. Also in case you get any further enquiries regarding the TV, it appears that there must be some kind of cable system since the incoming arial provided a number of channels including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4, CH5, sky movies max , sky sports 1 and 2, eurosport, sky news, CNN and a number of other foreign channels. I also was pleasantly surprised by the size of the pool, the picture does not really do it justice and the pool was bigger than it looks from the picture. (I took some video of the outside of the villa from which I can extract individual shots if you need any new ones, there may be something better I have not looked closely ). I did notice one potential problem in the villa ... Please do not consider this as in a negative sense as I have already mentioned we were very happy with the Villa and would certainly consider using it again, or perhaps any other properties you have if this is the general standard. regards Barry Marks

And not to mention the secluded roof-top sun terrace, plus falling to sleep to the sound of the waves ... ahhhhhh memories we will never forget. I could go on and on. I can't imagine a more romantic location - it certainly topped the original honeymoon, a wet weekend in Cornwall! We loved the apartment and its position - our own house seems very quiet without the sounds of the sea in the background. We do hope to go back again soon - to Carabeo of course, although we'd quite like no. 70 with its roof terrace next time. Nerja is a beautiful place and we were fortunate enough to try some really good restaurants: 34 on Carabeo - we went there twice - excellent all round Pepe Rico - centre of town (not sure of street) a lovely lunch in the Spanish flower scented courtyard garden Sloans, Manuel Marin (off Castilla Prerez) - new restaurant opened in June, very friendly but needs more people to create a bustling atmosphere. They do a 8 course summer banquet and also Sunday lunch (Scottish owned) Los Barilles, Carabeo - tiny Spanish bar only open in the evenings serving platters of cured ham, local cheese and a charming Chorizo Inferno (pieces of chorizo served on a kebab over a flaming teracotta dish) - delightful atmosphere and very popular. Our house was lovely - just what we were looking for. La Hacienda was a great place for Jack - he made lots of new friends and it was perfect as we left our front door open and he could come and go as he pleased (usually with other children following close behind). Nerja is a pretty village. We had an excellent meal in Frigiliana (hard work getting to the top but entirely worth it), great paella at La Restinga and we just had to go for a curry in Nerja one evening! We went to see the Caves and also took Jack to the water park in Torre del Mar (conveniently next to a shopping centre!) and spent some time with our friends in Benalmadena. So all in all a very relaxing two weeks. We would all definitely go back. Everything arranged by Inter-Sol couldn't have gone any smoother. Thanks very much. The town was wonderful and we enjoyed trying as many different restaurants as we could. We used your suggestions for 34, AYO, and el gatto Negro and would definately suggest that you keep them on your suggestion list. There was an irish family who also visted those establishments and we give them " two thumbs up". If I ever talk to someone who is considering the costa de sol, I would certainly recommend Nerja and Inter-sol. If you need to use us a a reference for other American famlies traveling with small children, you may do so. There are so many places in the world to visit, I don't believe that we will be back to Spain or Nerja in the near future, but will have very fond memories of our stay there. Ann L. So I found Inter-Sol on eBay (of all places) and took my chances. Well, the Gods were smiling down at me when I did. My extra friends and I, via e-mails, secured Carabeo #72 with Inter-Sol, crossed our fingers and flew to Spain. Although finding Carabeo #72 was a tad curious (and we found it before it became available,) once there we were stupified and drop-jawed. When at last we found it and we walked out on the little terrace alongside the apartment, immediately we saw Enchantment trickle out of its quaint door onto Calle Carabeo. Old world, and definitely European, charms worked their ways up from the small canteloupe-wedge slice of beach onto which waves crashed from the Mediterranean fifty feet below. Our first glimpse came near sunset, and I swear there were Sirens humming on the rocks around which the water swirled. Now, once we took possession and could scope out the place, we were three times over more glad than when we first saw it. Although small, for a couple and a child (leave the child home!) we loved sunning on the balcony/patio, watching wierd Spanish shows on the TV, waking at sunrise to the sound of waves. Listen, I am sure there are jaded people out there who may yawn and say, yeah, did that. But if you are open to the joys of days spent under the sun on the funnest place on the Med, go to Caja Carabeo in Nerja, find Ayo's at the far north end of the beach, say hello to Paco and eat his paella. You'll be annoying your friends with ooo's ahhh's and stories for weeks after. Chuck ******************************************************
